The Delhi Mini League involves participation by children and therefore places particular importance on the responsible handling and protection of children's personal information.

By using the Website, registering a club, submitting information, or participating in the Delhi Mini League, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Where personal information relates to a child, the applicable parent or lawful guardian shall act on behalf of the child where required by applicable law.

B. Parent/Guardian Information

Where a participant is a minor, we may collect information relating to the parent or lawful guardian, including:

  • Relationship with the participant;
  • Information necessary to establish authority to provide consent; and
  • Information contained in the applicable NOC/consent documentation.

C. Club Information

For registered clubs, we may collect information such as:

  • Club name;
  • Affiliation information;
  • Authorised representative details;
  • Contact details;
  • Registration information;
  • Login/account information;
  • Payment and transaction-related information; and
  • Documents required for club registration or verification.

D. Match and Participation Information

We may collect and maintain information relating to League participation, including:

  • Team/club;
  • Fixtures;
  • Match participation;
  • Match results;
  • Player involvement in matches;
  • Specific match statistics; and
  • Disciplinary or administrative information where required for League management.

Only selected match-related information may be made publicly available.

E. Technical Information

When users access the Website, certain technical information may be processed as part of normal website operation, security and administration, such as IP address, browser information, device information, access times and technical logs.

We do not currently use the Website to collect cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

  • Obtaining and maintaining required parent/guardian consent or NOC;
  • Administering the Delhi Mini League;

  • Recording match results and specific match statistics;
  • Communicating with clubs, parents/guardians and authorised participants;
  • Administering club registration and applicable fees;
  • Preventing fraudulent or duplicate registrations;
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of the Website and League;
  • Responding to queries, complaints and requests;
  • Complying with applicable legal or regulatory requirements;
  • Maintaining appropriate administrative and audit records; and
  • Carrying out other purposes reasonably connected with the administration and development of the Delhi Mini League.

We will seek to limit the collection and use of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

4.Children's Personal Information

The Delhi Mini League includes age categories involving children. We recognise the additional responsibilities associated with processing children's personal information.

5.Publicly Available Player Information

The Website may publicly display limited information associated with League participation, such as:

  • Player name;
  • Club/team;
  • Relevant competition or age category;
  • Match participation information;
  • Match result information; and
  • Selected match-specific statistics.

We do not intend to publicly publish comprehensive or overall player performance statistics through the Website as part of the current League structure. Any future expansion of publicly displayed player information will be undertaken with appropriate consideration of applicable law, consent requirements and the interests of participants, particularly minors.

6.Photographs and Videos

Photographs and videos may be captured during League matches, events, activities and related programmes. Subject to applicable consent requirements, such material may be used for legitimate League-related purposes including:

  • Documenting League activities;
  • Publishing match/event coverage;
  • Website content;
  • Official social media;
  • Promotional and informational communications;
  • Press and public communications;
  • League reports; and
  • Archival purposes.

We will seek to use such material responsibly and avoid unnecessary disclosure of personal information. Parents/guardians may contact us if they have concerns regarding the use of a child's photograph or video.

7.Sharing of Personal Information

We do not currently intend to routinely share player personal information with external scouts, sponsors, clubs, academies, football associations or other third parties for independent commercial or unrelated purposes.

However, personal information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary:

  • To authorised personnel involved in administering the League;
  • To service providers or data processors providing technology, hosting, payment, communication, security or other services on our behalf;
  • Where required for age, identity or eligibility verification;
  • Where required by law, regulation, court order or lawful government authority;
  • Where necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of participants, users or the League;
  • To investigate fraud, misuse or security incidents; or
  • Where otherwise permitted or required under applicable law.

If the League's operations are expanded in the future to involve additional categories of data sharing, appropriate notices, permissions or consent will be obtained wherever required by applicable law.

8.Payment Information

Certain clubs, including clubs that are not affiliated with MCD, may be required to pay registration fees or other League-related fees.

Where online payments are facilitated, payment transactions may be processed through third-party payment service providers.

SITDS does not intend to retain complete payment card details such as full card numbers, CVVs or similar authentication information on the League Website.

Payment providers may process transaction information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

9.Club Accounts and Login Information

Currently, account-based access is provided to registered clubs. Club account information and login credentials may be processed for the purposes of:

  • Authentication;
  • Account management;
  • Access control;
  • League administration;
  • Security;
  • Communication; and
  • Maintaining records of authorised account activity.

Clubs are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

10.Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including League administration, record keeping, dispute resolution, security, legal compliance and other legitimate purposes.

Where personal information is no longer required and there is no legal or operational requirement to retain it, reasonable steps will be taken to delete, anonymise or otherwise dispose of the information securely.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse or destruction.

Users, clubs and parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate and complete information.

If any submitted information becomes inaccurate or changes, the relevant user should contact the League organizers or update the information through the available account or registration mechanism, where applicable.

If we become aware that a child's personal information has been submitted without the required parent/guardian consent or other lawful basis, we may take appropriate steps to verify the circumstances and, where appropriate, delete or restrict the information.

Parents or lawful guardians who believe that information relating to their child has been submitted without appropriate authority should contact us immediately.
